Another attempt.
On Saturday Chris had to work but I went with my parents and grandparents to Ike Kinswa State Park. Every year my aunt and some family friends go camping here for Mother's Day. We have gone a few times in the past but this year we just went for the day. My mom thought it would be fun to take a picture of Claire in the woods. It was hilarious. We found a perfect spot with wild bleeding hearts. Looks like we just came upon a baby in the woods. Ha.
On Sunday the whole Olympia area family got together at my grandparents house for a french toast and eggs breakfast. It was really nice to have the whole family in one place again. Before we moved to Pullman there used to be family get togethers all of the time but while we were gone they slacked off. There have been a few in the past couple of months but hopefully as the weather gets nicer we can start having bbqs in the parks again. We tried to get my grandfather to take a family picture of the extended Regan family but none turned out well. In some we were making faces and in others our heads were cropped. Oh well, we will have to try again. But we did get a great picture of four generations: Great-Grandma Anne, Grandma Claudia, me, and baby Claire.
Chris and Claire gave me a card and some super yummy chocolates. I ate only a few because I accidentally left them on the kitchen counter and they somehow became free game. They were good so I don't blame the buzzards. It was a great weekend.
